This position provides high impact daily promotion for both online and broadcast news products. The Topical Promotion Producer will creatively write, shoot, produce and edit highly engaging promotion for multiplatform deployment (social, online , broadcast) to attract viewers to specific newscasts and day parts. It is imperative that candidates for this position be innovative, have excellent writing and organizational skills and be experienced at completing a high quality product in a short amount of time.
Successful candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Communications, and/or Marketing. Five years experience writing creative and engaging promotional pieces. Three to five years experience in a working newsroom environment a plus. Candidate should have outstanding knowledge of non-linear editing software as well as video production expertise in digital and analog capture.
