This position is responsible for packaging and delivering breaking news, weather and sports and other information quickly, accurately and in a compelling manner with text, video and photos and other Web-based information streams. Other responsibilities include maintaining site standards, responding to users’ needs, and moderating user submitted content in a consistent manner that is in tune with the organization standards. Shift is Friday through Tuesday.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field and experience as a digital editor or multimedia producer. Candidates must have the ability to work with multiple content management systems, knowledge of HTML, good working knowledge of online audience and emerging trends, basic Adobe PhotoShop skills and some video editing experience.
