Duties & Responsibilities: This position is responsible for building and overseeing the digital presentation of content across multiple platforms through user-defined applications and web sites. An example of such a project is developing desktop and mobile applications for the display of community information of interest to anyone considering a home or job relocation within our service area. Other responsibilities include:

• Serves as the Technical Manager for the Digital Production group. Defines and directs technical specifications and tasks to be performed by team members, defines target dates of tasks and subtasks, provides guidance and assistance in coordinating output and insuring the technical adequacy of the end-product.
• Negotiate with operations, product teams, other stakeholders, and vendors to reach agreement and enable solutions and agreements that protect operations interests while aligning with departmental, divisional and corporate goals.
• Capture and communicate business requirements and operational process best practices.
• Manage project documentation and capture requirements from all functional stakeholders.



Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience as a program manager, and/or project management role in the business and/or technology management functions at a software/web engineering, system integrator, and/or operations business analysis environment. Candidates must have 7+ years of Internet / new media development experience with programming technologies such as Java, J2EE, .Net, Perl, PHP, SQL, Ajax, Flash/Flex, Ruby-on-Rails, C#, etc, and 5 years direct management of employees. Demonstrated experience with organizing and delivering presentations, business and operational process analysis, reporting and project coordination. Previous experience developing software applications or constructing content architectures, working experience with various open source technologies, and SOA is required.
