Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the day to day delivery of the newspaper to all customers within their assigned area. Other responsibilities include:

• Plans, directs, and provides leadership for programs and activities of the circulation operation in order to achieve financial targets, excellent customer service, and maintain effective organizational structure.
• Oversees carrier recruitment and selection, thorough orientation, and effective communication of customer service goals with newspaper staff and independent contractor carriers.
• Maintains/increases the circulation and market penetration. Assists with creating and implementing effective retention programs. Sets effective customer service goals for staff and carrier force.
• Completes the necessary administrative work processes necessary paper work properly and by deadline for carrier changes, charge and credit requests, reports and other items.
• Works as a part of a consultative management team to reach departmental goals.
• Maintains confidentiality of information.



Qualifications: Associate degree and 1-3 years supervisory experience; or in the absence of an Associates degree, 2-5 years related experience.
