Duties & Responsibilities: This position provides second-tier support to end users for either PC or peripheral equipment, server, or mainframe applications and hardware and handles problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. Other responsibilities include:
• May interact with network /security analyst, Digital Asset Management team, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
• Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
• Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts used in repair work.


Qualifications: Position requires an Associates’ degree in appropriate discipline, and 2-4 years related experience, or, in the absence of a associates’ degree, 6 years of related experience.
